Ethiopia Organic Guji Buku

These certified organic beans come from the famed Guji region, just under the other very famous Yirgacheffe region.   They are grown at 2,300 meters above sea level.  OMG!  I’ve never heard of beans grown at that level.  Usually, 1,600 is the highest I can find anywhere. The higher the elevation, the cooler it gets at night, the more the bean’s development slows, and the more acidic and vibrant the beans become.   That’s why you should care.   

The Guji region is known for having some of the most vibrant and fruit forward natural process coffees in all of Ethiopia. Broker indicates sweet and sugary flavors of  Blueberry, Honeydew, & Jasmine Honeysuckle. Great for filter & excellent crema in espresso.
