Fed up, he decided to make his own tea. His ultimate goal was to deliver the very best tea from the finest tea leaf and spices nature had to offer, which he continues to do today. His entrepreneurial spirit, engineering background, and astute palate complemented his tea-making skills. He tested multiple combinations before perfecting a unique blend that highlighted the true flavor of tea instead of masking it with milk and sugar. The result is a truly distinctive tea with balance and complexity.As the first American "natural and allergen free" tea manufacturer in history, TASTY CHAI led this country's contemporary resurgence in artisan tea-making. It was also the first tea maker to label their tea with the amount of caffeine inside.In December 2016 TASTY CHAI relocated to sunny San Diego.
